AI Act Index is an independent editorial resource covering the software market for EU AI Act compliance and ISO 42001 certification. We publish in-depth reviews, structured comparisons, and practical compliance guides written for compliance, legal, and technology professionals — not for general audiences.

The site is published from a European perspective, in English, with a focus on regulation that applies inside the European Union and to organisations selling into the Union from elsewhere.

Why it exists

The EU AI Act creates specific, enforceable obligations for thousands of companies across Europe and beyond. The market for software that supports those obligations and ISO 42001 certification has grown rapidly, but independent evaluation of which tools actually deliver against the regulation specifically — not adjacent standards — has been scarce. AI Act Index fills that gap.
